Our evening Sambal Streets tour weaves through this tight-knit community known for traditional wooden housing and sizzling street eats, influenced by a kaleidoscope of Malay, Indian and Arab flavours.

We’d rather not spoil the surprise, but a sneak peek of our 15+ tastings include some firm favourites: simmering bowls of beehun soup, hand-stretched rotis with a trio of curries, nasi lemak with piquant sambal, charcoal-grilled mackerel smothered in aromatic spices, palm-leaf wrapped otak-otak, and mamak-style stir-fried noodles - washed down with frothy teh tarik.

The tour concludes across the illuminated Saloma Bridge at one of the city’s best ground view points of the mighty Petronas Towers
